Taxidermy class

I had a brilliant day learning how to do taxidermy with Dave. You get to learn the whole process from skinning and removing the insides to curing and finishing off with the end product. I have enough confidence now to try it out in my own and hopefully come up with a few fun ideas. We will definitely be back if you decide to go ahead with the Jackalope course!! Thanks again!

Absolutely super day! Very friendly and welcoming. Great class and very informative. He demonstrated on a mouse while we did our animal but he happily helped us with tricky bits if we needed it. More than happy to answer all and any questions any of the class had. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a taxidermy class. Will defo return for another class in the future!

I went on one of the taxidermy courses, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Dave, was very patient and very willing to help anyone who needed some extra support (which was mostly me, I must admit). He was also very friendly. I would highly recommend going on one of the courses.

Dave offers the perfect introduction to Taxidermy with his beginner classes. You learn everything from the frozen animal to the finished product, which you get to keep and take home. I had a great time and it's reassuring that I now know the process if I want to do it myself in the future too. Definitely recommend; either if you're interested in starting taxidermy as a hobby or you want the one-off experience. Also his shop and general oddities everywhere is fascinating, so it's worth the visit just for that - never thought I'd hold a mummified cat! Thanks ★★★★★

A great taster of an unusual craft! Such a great day out on the taxidermy course at Morbitorium. I was excited and a little apprehensive before I went but it totally lived up to my expectations. I chose a rabbit but we had a mix of animals in our group which was nice as it gave us an insight into preparing other animals should we wish in the future. Dave was a spectacularly patient teacher and a great host. I’d love to try a rat/mouse in the future and thanks to Dave’s down to Earth advice, I’d feel confident to do so. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a taster of a slightly different sort of craft course! ★★★★★

Somewhat to my surprise I really enjoyed the day-long taxidermy basics course. Dave is a great tutor and coped brilliantly with our eccentric and extremely chatty group. He conveyed all the basics of taxidermy so that I would feel confident having a go at a solo project at home. Thank you! ★★★★★

What a brilliant day we had at the Morbitorium. I couldn't have asked for more. If you are looking at taking part in a small taxidermy class where you feel like a friend rather than a customer this is the place to go. Very informative and very helpful. A fantastic look into someone else's world of wunder. Top class.

Replica cat skull

Such a beautiful skull! (I’m tempted to say I LOVE cats, inside and out haha :/ ).I love appreciating the animal form, but I’m vegan and the zero animal cruelty was kinda a moral requirement for me, so I was really pleased for how descriptive they were about their product and process. It’s very pretty, hardy, and whatever resin used really abided my the original form in terms of detail and how it accepts the light. Quality of a real skull without the animal mistreatment Definitely buy from again. ★★★★★
